The Witheridge Devon website has been designed by
residents of the village to provide local
community and tourist information, places
providing accommodation for visitors and details
regarding local businesses, nature photographs,
and local countryside events. Our site is the
result of many hours of work, firstly learning how
to make a site, then producing it, then realizing
it was no good enough and starting again. At the
end of the day I am still learning, but the
village feels that we have created a good site
that meets its purpose. And that is to provide
local community information for the benefit of all
local residents, and also to promote our little
corner of Devon via the Internet. We hope that you
agree? |

cyberspace dedicated to peaceful positive change.
Various nonprofit organizations as well the
positive aspects of volunteer work are emphasized,
as are ways individuals can be a part of peaceful
positive change in this world, if they choose to.
There's also an Arts & Poetry Cafe, for visitors'
enjoyment and as an avenue of creative expression.
Human rights and social justice are primary here,
and New Margretville is updated regularly. |
